Goal 1: Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions

Consulting: Survey of greenhouse gas emissions in the supply chain according to the GHG Protocol.

Swiss Textile members benefit from a free initial consultation and 4h support per year for their own Smart 3 software license from myclimate. This allows you to record your products and materials and calculate your ‘Company Carbon Footprint’.

Goal 2: Promotion of fair wages and humane working conditions for all

Workshop: ILO Better Work Academy

The ILO Better Work Academy aims to create a holistic understanding of social compliance. To this end, the Academy offers an 18-month training program (free of charge, virtual and in-person, as needed). Committed actors can contact the ILO Better Work Academy directly for a site consultation.

The supply chain is clearly managed on the platform or database.

Goal 3: Promotion of innovative business Models toward a Circular economy

Consulting: Rough analysis of the circularity of a textile product

The consulting offer is based on the assessment tool of CIRCULAR CLOTHING. After actors have gone through the tool, they analyze in a consultation where the actor stands in terms of circularity and show what the next steps could be to achieve the goal.

Through Texaid’s End of Life solutions, pre- and post-consumer textiles can be kept in the loop for a second life cycle through reuse or recycling. Partners benefit from a modular End of Life solution.

The software incorporates social and governance factors in addition to carbon footprinting, as well as key reporting standards.
