Consumer behaviour plays a key role in a sustainable textile and clothing sector and in the cultural change towards a more sustainable market in Switzerland. In a representative survey, over 1000 people in Switzerland were questioned and their attitudes and behaviour in relation to sustainable textiles were determined. Current market research shows where the potential and risks for more sustainable purchasing and usage behaviour lie, both among private individuals, companies and the public sector.
