ILO Better Work Academy
An 18-month training program on: Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, Preventing Sexual Harassment, Child Labor and Forced Labor, Fair Wages and Benefit Systems, and Labor Relations and Social Dialogue.

The offer

The ILO Better Work Academy is a comprehensive program that brings together all levels of the garment industry to improve working conditions and respect for workers' rights, as well as increase the competitiveness of garment companies. Through participation in the ILO Better Work program, factories have in the past steadily improved compliance with ILO core labor standards and national legislation. This has significantly improved working conditions while increasing factory productivity and profitability. The program is currently active in 1,700 factories with more than 2.4 million employees in twelve countries. Better Work not only advises factories, but also works with governments to improve labor laws and with brand companies to ensure that progress is sustainable. Better Work also advises unions on how to give employees more of a voice.
