Webinar series on child labor due diligence
The webinar series explains how to implement robust due diligence on child labor in companies' operations and value chains that is in line with Swiss legislation.

The offer

The webinar series provided support for companies in implementing the new due diligence requirements for child labor, which must be applied in Switzerland from 2023. It requires Swiss companies to check whether their goods and services could be associated with child labor. If a risk is identified, companies must trace their supply chain, identify and manage risks of negative impacts and report annually on the measures taken.

The four webinar recordings supported companies in establishing a robust due diligence process on child labor. They include an introduction to the concept of child labor, a step-by-step guide to the due diligence process using the ILO/IOE Guidance for Business on Child Labor and the relevant UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and practical tips, company case studies and best practices.

The webinar series supports the committed actors in the implementation of measure 2.2: Strategy development for improved working conditions and measure 2.4: Implementation of the strategy and roadmap.
