Guideline: Environmental Atlas Supply Chains Switzerland
The Environmental Atlas 'Supply Chains Switzerland' shows in detail the environmental impact of the Swiss apparel trade including the associated supply chain.
The offer
On six pages (pp. 54-59), the Environmental Atlas Supply Chains Switzerland shows in detail the environmental impact of the Swiss apparel trade, including the associated supply chain. This means from the extraction of the required raw materials through processing at upstream value-adding stages to the direct suppliers. It includes the environmental hotspots along the textile value chain and a detailed analysis of the water footprint. In addition, the Environmental Atlas highlights the reduction needs of the apparel trade and presents initiatives, standards and assistance. At the end of the document, the steps to sustainable supply chain management are outlined and a checklist for establishing sustainable supply chain management is presented.
