Swiss Fair Trade, one of the supporting associations of STS 2030, is launching the Fair Fashion Award, an award for innovative sustainability solutions in the textile industry. The application phase is now open.
The Fair Fashion Award is intended to honor role models from the textile industry who are committed to transparency and fairness in the supply chain. Companies, organizations or projects from the textile and clothing industry have the opportunity to receive not only recognition, but also attractive prize money.
The prize is awarded in two categories: “Emerging” and “Established”. There is prize money of CHF 20,000 per category as well as a sustainability consultation worth CHF 5,000. The prize is made possible by the AMPHORA Foundation.
This year’s topic “Transparency in the textile industry” fits perfectly with the transparency goal of STS 2030 and offers a great opportunity for actors to showcase their efforts in this area.
The application process has two stages: first, the nominees are determined on the basis of an evaluation grid before the main jury, consisting of experts from various disciplines, selects the two winners.
Swiss Fair Trade presents the Fair Fashion Award together with its partners Fairtrade Max Havelaar and Fashion Revolution Switzerland.
