Fairtrade Textile Program
The Fairtrade Textile Program is a support program for local factories and is available to all companies that wish to improve working conditions in their textile production facilities.
The offer
At the beginning of the textile program there is an analysis of the risks and development potentials of the production site. The results are incorporated into action plans that are developed together with the factories' management. The subsequent implementation is accompanied by Fairtrade employees, trade unions, training centers and external partners and experts.
The Fairtrade Textile Program includes training modules in occupational health and safety, worker empowerment, living wages, environmental and chemical management, and improving efficiency and productivity. Companies can choose to focus on one area or tackle multiple issues at once.
